Kenji - Director, Cycling and Sightseeing/Experience Guide
Kenji has a rich background in investment banking. However, he eventually found his calling in promoting tourism in Minamiboso. He founded the Minamiboso Cycle Tourism Association to encourage cycling and tourism in the area. Kenji has extensive experience guiding both cycling and non-cycling tours. He recently launched BOSO ADVENTURE TOURS to cater to international tourists. As an avid cyclist of over 20 years, Kenji is well-equipped to lead tours. Raised in Europe and educated in the US, he has a TOIEC score of 975. Kenji currently manages a multi-faceted facility called Heguri Hub.

Akira Oka - Founder of Oka Tours, Cycling Guide
Akira is the founder of Oka Tours, the pioneer in bicycle tours in Japan. He has traveled a lot in Europe with his bicycle and has realized that Japan has the potential to be a great bicycle trip destination. He decided to retire from the finance industry in 2005 and started a cycling guide business that was unprecedented at the time. Currently, he organizes more than 20 tours per year throughout Japan and also conducts day tours in Tokyo. He is a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter.

Kaori Sasho - Sightseeing/Experience Guide
Kaori was born and raised in Kyonan-town, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, PA, USA, majoring in Linguistics. In 1994, she opened her own English language school in Japan and has been teaching English to students of all ages since then. In 2007, she acquired a national English speaking guide license. She has led groups from California, led by Sandy Lydon, emeritus professor at Cabrillo College, Santa Cruz, CA, throughout Japan. Since 2022, she has been a supervisor at Nokogiriyama as a Japan Heritage Candidate Guide Training Project. She holds an EIKEN 1st Grade and has a TOEIC score of 990.

Tatsuro Sugawara
Tatsuro has enjoyed cycling since childhood. He favors mountain bikes, roadbikes and camp touring. Through his rich experience overseas, he has rediscovered his fascination with Japan. He is currently a professional cycling guide introducing his clients to beautiful routes, delicious foods and the virtue of Japanese culture. Besides cycling, he enjoys snowboards, travelling and flying drones. He lives in Chiba.
