Sample Itinerary

  • Take the highway bus from Tokyo Station departing at 8:20am.
  • Get off at the bus stop “Highway Oasis Furari” at 9:43am and we will meet you there.
  • In the morning, wander around the farm villages and visit a road station that has farm products.
  • Have a delicious lunch at a local restaurant run by the local fishermen at the sea
  • Visit a beautiful beach with a wooden pier and also a local shrine.
  • Get back to the bus stop “Highway Oasis Furari”. Take a bus at 16:25 that would get you to Tokyo station at 17:54.

  • Late March to Late May is the best season for cycling in Boso area

Sample Itinerary

Day 1:

  • Take the highway bus from Tokyo Station departing at 15:20.
  • Get off at the bus stop “Highway Oasis Furari” at 16:43 and we will pick you up and take you to the villa in our car.

Day 2:

  • In the morning, ride through the farm villages and enjoy an organic lunch at a 300-year old farmhouse. In the afternoon, ride towards the ocean and stop by a unique shrine that is dedicated to the culinary (food/cooking) god.
  • Stay at a Japanese inn “minshuku”/villa along the coast that is famous for its’ delicious seafood/sushi.
  • Take a 2 hour Sushi lesson where you learn how to cut /clean fish and make Sushi (optional)

Day 3:

  • Ride along the coastline and reach the southern tip of the Boso peninsula.
  • Stop by a Buddhist temple and enjoy cultural experiences such as pilgrimage and/or calligraphy. Head back to the villa to shower up.
  • We will take you back to the bus stop “Highway Oasis Furari”. If you would take the bus at 15:55, it would get you to Tokyo station at 17:26.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1:

  • Take the school bus from your school to the public nature center.
  • Participate in a score orienteering and night hiking program.

Day 2:

  • In the morning, take a guided hiking tour to a small mountain that has a spectacular view.
  • In the afternoon, take a guided walking tour to a bamboo forest and enjoy bamboo shoot (Takenoko) gathering/hunting.

Day 3

  • In the morning, go to the beach and discover/learn about the creatures of the sea
  • In the afternoon either take a honey candle making class or a guided cycling tour riding through the farm villages.
  • In the evening, enjoy barbeque and campfire.

Day 4:

  • In the morning, help out some of the local farms ruined by the recent typhoon.
  • Depart the public nature center via the school bus.
